Reporting to the Manager of Finance Modernization the new Senior Analytics Engineer will be a strategic enabler of data-driven finance transformation. You will empower our finance teams, across FP&A, Brand, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Trade, and Marketing—to maximize the power of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

You will collaborate across finance and IT to build data pipelines and translate data into applicable insights. You will help improve our Enterprise Data Platform plans within finance, helping shape a modern, intelligent finance organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, reliable data pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple financial and operational systems.

  • Build and improve SQL queries and data transformations to support business use cases.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all finance datasets used for reporting, analytics, and modeling.

  • Automate workflows to improve data processing efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Design models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and anomaly detection in financial data.

  • Partner with finance SMEs to Identify high-value AI/ML use cases.

  • Communicate analytical findings to finance and business leaders using visualization tools such as Power BI and Sigma.

  • Work with partners to define requirements and provide advanced analytics solutions that create measurable value.

  • Guide communication between the Finance COE and IT functions to align data strategy, architecture, and reporting.

  • Educate and upskill finance teams in using data, AI tools and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Sigma Computing)

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to plan, estimate, and deliver work efficiently.

  • Help create documentation for data workflows, transformations, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

  • 4–7 years of experience in finance analytics, data science, or data engineering roles, within a manufacturing, CPG, or a finance organization.

  • Experience with financial processes, metrics, and planning cycles.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and cloud-based ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or OneStream.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL workflows, and data architecture concepts.

  • Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and other partners, able to translate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to data-driven decision-making.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
