Summary:
In this role, you will be a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer and have 5+ years of experience in data engineering and a strong background in AI-enabled systems, machine learning model development, and data management. This role involves leading the implementation of an AI-enabled contract lifecycle management (CLM- eCRM) system and ensuring its seamless operation. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust data pipelines, optimize database systems, and oversee AI model deployment in production environments.
Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Management:

Lead critical aspects of implementing an AI-enabled contract lifecycle management system.

Ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency of the system.
AI Model & Machine Learning Development:
-
Collaborate with CLM vendors, data scientists, QA teams, and AI specialists to fine-tune machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP) models for contract analysis.

Ensure the AI models produce reliable and actionable insights.
Data Integration & ETL:
-
Design and implement data pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of contract data.

Collaborate with other teams to integrate data sources and maintain data integrity.
Database Design & Management:
-
Optimize database design and management for contract data, utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases.

Implement best practices for data storage, retrieval, and security.

Work with the CLM vendor to ensure data availability and accuracy in their system, APIs, and any external data storage locations.
MLOps & Monitoring:

Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI models in production environments.

Ensure AI models remain accurate and effective over time.
Data Governance & Master Data Management:

Implement and maintain best practices for data governance, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance.

Support master data management and data quality assurance initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:

Use data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Lead initiatives to improve system performance and user adoption based on feedback and system metrics.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

Partner with teams such as legal, finance, and business operations to ensure system integration meets business requirements.

Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Project Management:

Work closely with the project manager to identify essential tasks and define project timelines.

Manage deliverables related to integration, data availability, and data accuracy.

Ensure on-time completion of projects while aligning with broader organizational goals.
Qualifications:
-
Relevant degree preferred.

5 or more years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related role required.

Expertise in designing and implementing ETL pipelines and data integration processes.

Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with machine learning models, especially NLP models, and deploying AI in production environments.

Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and reporting.

Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.

Will need to understand how to use LLM AI Prompts, understand AI limits

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of data governance and master data management best practices.

Experience with contract lifecycle management systems.

Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Dynamics or Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools for AI/ML development.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.
