Dailymotion is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to strenghten our Analytics team within the Data department. This cross-functional team—composed of Data Product Managers, Analysts, and Analytics Engineers— is responsible for delivering end-to-end data solutions: from ingestion pipelines and transformation logic, to analytics products powering both internal and client-facing experiences. Our mission: build a modern data ecosystem that empowers autonomous, data-driven decisions and drives value across all products and business units.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will help define the vision for analytics at scale, drive data architecture decisions, and mentor fellow engineers. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape Dailymotion’s data culture and contribute to a dynamic ecosystem that powers decision-making across the entire organization.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, Business & Product stakeholders) to understand needs, define data requirements, and deliver impactful data products.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable data models and transformation logic that translate business needs into trusted, reusable assets.
• Own and continuously improve analytics pipelines — from data ingestion to transformation and delivery — ensuring performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a go-to expert on core business entities, data modeling strategies, and analytical architecture.
• Establish and uphold best practices in analytics engineering, ensuring data quality, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency through monitoring and optimization.
• Document and catalog key business concepts (datamarts, dimensions, metrics, business rules) to promote data discoverability and support governance initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on core datasets and coach internal users on SQL and analytics best practices.
• Contribute to Dailymotion’s AI and advanced analytics strategy by experimenting with new tools, proposing innovative processes, and exploring emerging technologies.

You’ll work in a modern data environment powered by Google Cloud Platform, including:

• DataLake: BigQuery
• Orchestration: Airflow
• Containerization & Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, JenkinsX
• Data Modeling & Transformation: SQL, dbt
• Data Quality & Observability: Sifflet
• Data discoverability: Coalesce Catalog
• BI / Reporting: Looker, LookerStudio, Amplitude

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
• Experience designing and maintaining analytics pipelines, from ingestion to production-ready datasets
• Proficient in data modeling (star, snowflake, medallion) and in writing robust technical specifications
• Skilled in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang (preferred), or Java
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, especially BigQuery and/or Snowflake
• Proven track record in data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and implementing observability solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and mentorship
• Fluent in English
