Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the Incentive Compensation Center of Excellence (IC COE) team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data analytics professional to contribute to automation, monitoring, and process enhancement efforts that support incentive compensation administration. Key Responsibilities
- Consult on and analyze moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges using variable data inputs.
- Perform data analysis to support strategic initiatives and business needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract insights and identify opportunities for engineering enhancements.
- Lead or contribute to large cross-functional projects.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on analytics best practices.
- Collaborate with peers, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Ensure compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements in all supported areas.
- Balance short-term ad hoc requests with long-term strategic projects (e.g., 6-month initiatives).
- Partner with Technology, IC COE, and Finance teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- 4+ years of analytics experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- 4+ years of experience in data modeling, including integrating multiple data sources into clear and actionable models.
- 2+ years of experience with programming tools such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, VBA, or similar.
- Experience leading projects in an analytics development environment.
- Familiarity with the Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) business line is a plus.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly grasp complex business issues, and drive results with urgency.
- Experience building reports and automating processes to improve team efficiency.
- Strong database knowledge and ability to write SQL queries.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with agentic AI modeling or other advanced coding techniques is a plus.
- Incentive compensation experience is highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn WIM-specific processes and systems.
- Ability to identify trends, respond to immediate needs, and contribute to long-term strategic solutions.
