Responsibilities
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and define constraints
Develop Motion design concepts and be able to adapt existing motion designs to fit the markets’ needs.
Motion Fundamentals: Deep understanding on easing, squash and stretch, and timing to create natural-looking movement.
Typography in Motion: Understanding how to animate text so it is readable, impactful, and on-brand.
Sound Design & Audio Mixing: Select music, mix audio and utilize sound effects to enhance the emotional impact of every edit.
Format Expertise: Proven experience in vertical video storytelling (Reels / Tiktok / Shorts). Ability to tailor creative for specific platforms, ensuring safe zones, aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 16:9 and 1:1), and “sound-off” views are always optimized.
Asset Transformation: Turn static brand guidelines and assets into dynamic motion systems and reusable MOGRT templates for the wider team.
Color Theory & Layout: Applying traditional graphic design rules to a moving canvas.
Compression & Delivery: Understanding various codecs (H.264, ProRes) and aspect rations (16:9 for YouTube vs. 9:16 for TikTok / Reels).
Workload management: Extreme organization. Able to juggle 3+ projects at once, while maintaining a rigid file structure for easy hand-offs.
Participates in collaborative revision and approval process with marketing and Content Studio’s team to produce final approved design
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Meets with clients to discuss requirements and the design of the project.
Creates rough drafts and sketches of concepts and presents them to the respective manager and/or client for further discussion and revision.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines or a related fine arts field
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in motion design and video editing
A strong portfolio of motion assets and videos.
Superior artistic and design skills.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Rotoscoping software: Fluent in planar tracking software like Mocha Pro or other advanced rotoscoping tools.
Color Grading: Basic to intermediate skills in color correction to ensure visual consistency across different clips. (Lumetri or DaVinci Resolve)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to catch a single frame glitch, flash frame or typo in a lower-third graphic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the client and in accordance with the clients’ requirements.
Excellent time management and planning skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Flexible working hours, at least 1 days per week, to join meetings with the team in the USA.
Bonus: Knowledge in AI Tools (Firefly, Generative Fill, AI Voice/Transcription) to accelerate production workflows.
