YOUR NEW ROLE

•Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand use case requirements and to help identify opportunities to deliver business value and shape data and AI-enabled solutions

•Translate business requirements into functional specification documentation. 

•Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and AI-driven analytics products that provide at-a-glance actionable insights.

•Identify and document business metrics, working to standardise data sources and definitions.

•Apply advanced analytics and  to derive build predictive Insights and enhance decision‑making across the Personal Banking domain.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

•5+ years of experience as a business analyst/lead in complex business settings.

•Proven ability to analyse data and present it in an effective and meaningful manner in Power BI

•Track record of presenting insights and influencing decision-making through evidence-based analysis

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

•Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, PySpark with strong Power BI skills

•Ability to present data in a graphical or pictorial format based on requirements using NAB’s visualisation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, Databricks Gen AI

•Ability to convert data into information and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

•Understand financial services data and able to understand data models and relationships to compile reporting and metrics.

•Strong business acumen for Proprietary Home Loan, Retail, Premier and Broker Home Loan banking and ability to translate the metrics into business value

•Excellent communication skills.
