Purpose:

These FAH Analysts are responsible for maintenance and enhancement of Oracle FAH platform. They work directly with Finance and Treasury stakeholders for Changes activity to the FAH platform. Any change needed will be Developed by the analyst.

Essential capabilities:

• Validate the Daily Overnight FAH results and highlight any Variances before down stream systems use the data for the BAU processes.
• In case of batch failure analyse the impact on the results. This needs to be completed before 10am every business day.
• Respond to Adhoc queries regarding the FAH platform and work with BAU Tech team to resolve the query and respond within Business Hours.
• In case of a defect identified in the daily FAH processing work with the business stake holder to identify the solution and work within the team to fix the defect.
• Manage and resolve Incidents raised for processing defects in Overnight Batch processing.
• Working on change requests if needed for maintenance.

Skills:

• Good written and Verbal Communications
• Knowledge of Oracle Database.
• Ability to write and run SQL commands.
• Good Understanding of Finance/Treasury Operations
• Understanding of how AWS Cloud works in an IT Landscape.
• Good to have knowledge of Oracle FAH module or Financial modules. 
• Good to have knowledge of schedulers like Control M.
• Good to have knowledge of ETL Tools like Informatica, Oracle ODI

Experience:

• Previous experience of working in Oracle FAH (Financial Accounting Hub) and GL module.
• Experience of Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience of working on Unix. Shell scripting will be an add on.

Qualification Requirements:

• Finance graduate with prior experience of working in IT Landscape
• Knowledge of Oracle Database
• Knowledge of how Banks operate.
