JM&A is seeking a Senior Analyst, Visualization and Reporting, to develop, start, and expand data solutions. They require practical experience in managing data, reporting, visualizing, and utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI. This individual will build and enhance our reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive collaboration with Stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for new data solutions
- Drive collaboration with Data Engineers, Solution Developers, Power BI Data Modeler, and Analysts to build scalable and effective visualization and reporting solutions with interactive visuals that convey data insights
- Ability to build mid-to-complex visualization and reporting solutions in an Agile environment
- Ability to troubleshoot more complex performance and data defects
- Use innovation, best practices, and expertise to enhance visualization and reporting solutions
- Help drive the current and future Business Unit and JM Family data ecosystems
- Provide input and support to the Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform COEs to efficiently evolve data practices and strengthen tool adoption at the Business Unit and JM Family
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field based on professional experience
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with data management, data modeling, visualization, and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft, Power BI, Power Platform, SAS, Tableau, Cognos, and Azure
- Experience with Agile methodology and Azure DevOps
- Impressive communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent organization and time management skills, able to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative skills
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Experience in the Auto Finance industry and consumer lending is desired
- A good understanding of the Business Unit systems and processes is required
