The Senior Analyst, Total Rewards, EMEA will play a critical role in shaping Danaher Diagnostics Platform's Total Rewards strategy and ensuring it aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role involves designing, developing, implementing and delivering competitive total rewards policies and programs for base pay, incentive, equity, benefits and retirement components of the total compensation mix including rewards, recognition and retention programs and service awards. Manages career framework including reviewing leveling decisions. Prepares reports and facilitates associate communication related to benefits programs. Advises HR and managers on issues related to compensation and benefits. Manages annual processes like open enrollment, merit review, and equity planning.

The role will be based in Europe and will evaluate, analyze and advise on all aspects of total rewards compensation in EMEA with alignment with the Diagnostics Platform strategy and intent to attract, reward and retain highly qualified associates. There will be some required travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Consultation and Partnership: Consult with HR business partners on compensation-related matters such as pay adjustments, job leveling, strategic hiring offers, and promotions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and internal policies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct proactive market pricing, and pay range analysis to support compensation assessments, provide salary benchmarks, and inform compensation structures, especially in emerging markets like Africa. Apply and promote Danaher’s Global Career and Reward Framework (GCRF) guiding job mapping and leveling.
  • Program Management and Collaboration: Manage compensation programs including merit planning, variable pay administration, and equity distribution, while collaborating with leaders and HR business partners to align compensation policies and processes with country-specific requirements.
  • Ensure Regional Compliance: Ensure that total rewards programs comply with local laws and regulations across EMEA. This will involve staying updated on regional legislative changes and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Works Councils and Cultural Sensitivity: Implement compensation and benefits strategies that are culturally sensitive and appropriate for the diverse EMEA region/countries. Support works councils’ engagement where applicable.
  • Measure Success: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular reviews to measure the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments and improvements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University Degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience with expansions into new markets/countries and shifting between high-level design, consulting, analytical and operational work in multiple countries/regions within EMEA. Broad knowledge of EMEA-specific regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and present data, understand trends and develop recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish/maintain excellent working/consultancy relationships.
  • Experience in Workday, M&A experience and Familiarity with work councils will be a plus.
  • Compensation Design Expertise: Strong understanding of innovative compensation design principles and practices, including experience with equity-based compensation.
