POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Analyst, Tax, reporting to the Manager, Tax, plays a critical role in the Company’s income tax function with a primary focus on the quarterly global income tax provision preparation, taxable income modelling, and calculation of book-tax differences. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, thinks critically, and can independently work through unfamiliar issues. The Senior Analyst, Tax will regularly collaborate and communicate across key corporate functions, including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic Finance, and Treasury.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepares the Company’s global income tax provision and financial statement disclosures for quarterly and annual financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS
- Prepares internal taxable income forecast model for monthly forecasting and ad hoc modeling requests
- Prepares quarterly executive-level slide decks highlighting key tax metrics and taxable income modeling
- Prepares certain federal tax calculations which may include: 162(m) executive compensation, corporate alternative minimum tax (CAMT), foreign derived deduction eligible income (FDDEI), transfer pricing, foreign tax credit, revenue recognition, and share-based compensation
- Prepares income tax journal entries and corresponding monthly account reconciliations
- Prepares and facilitates quarterly estimated tax payments
- Prepares quarterly tax provision memorandums documenting the tax impact of significant transactions
- Liaises with local country big four accounting firms to manage and oversee the preparation of international income tax returns
- Manages and maintains income tax provision in Corptax provision tax software
- Supports timely delivery of workpapers and documentation required for external audits
Supports process improvement initiatives to streamline and increase efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)
Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Master’s degree in accounting or Tax is a plus. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or actively in pursuit of licensure is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience in tax accounting provision and/or tax compliance. Experience with Corptax Provision, Oracle, Hyperion, and SharePoint systems are a plus.

WORK CONDITIONS
Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
