Our Global Commerce and Payments operations teams manage over $12 billion in annual payments through our cloud-native commerce platform, purpose-built for the fitness industry. Clients include Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Crunch, EOS Gyms, and thousands of trainers, boutique studios, and health clubs enabled through our platforms Ignite, Glofox, Trainerize, and Evo.

We partner with some of the leading payment providers, banks, and fintech companies to drive payments innovation, including Stripe, Worldpay, GoCardless, Amazon Pay, Workday, Avalara, Chargebee, Recurly, and card networks such as Visa and Mastercard.

INTRODUCTION:

As the Senior Analyst, Strategic Pricing & Business Intelligence on ABC's Global Commerce and Payments Team, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of our global billing, collections, and payments business. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing partner contract pricing. You will review and optimize pricing for payment partner contracts across ABC’s priority growth markets to shape how we optimize our pricing and economics. Your work will include analysis and competitive benchmarking of bank rails (Direct Debit, Open Banking, Pay-by-Bank) and card scheme fees (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). You will support the go-forward strategy for the Commerce platform, pricing and packaging our global money movement solutions, and providing pricing analysis and recommendations to Sales and GTM teams. Your ability to quickly analyze data, think strategically about pricing, and identify opportunities for improvement will be crucial in driving business success and ensuring ABC remains at the forefront of the health and fitness industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Conduct pricing analysis of all partner contracts and network, scheme processing fees, and costs.
  • Evaluate comprehensive business intelligence to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and changes in payment industry pricing.
  • Provide insightful and actionable recommendations to support key decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful execution of pricing strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, adapting them as necessary to meet evolving business needs and market conditions.
  • Produce reports and communications for key stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Customer Success, and Operations, ensuring transparency and alignment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, business analysis, strategy, or a related field within the payments industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic pricing.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities for business improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on results.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry landscape, including card scheme fees, bank processing costs, emerging pricing trends, and technology.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in payment systems.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the United States and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S. based candidates for this position is $68,800 -- $79,000 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions. 

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $68,800.00 -- $83,000.00 CAD annually. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
