About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Strategy & Operations plays a critical role for the Global Solutions Center of Excellence (CoE) to help evolve the Solutions Organization into the next generation of talent, drive alignment between Product and Sales, and accelerate Salesforce’s path to $50B.
As we transition to an AI-first approach for our demos and tools, measuring impact is critical. The Senior Analyst, Demos & Tools will serve as the "analytical engine" behind our best-in-class tools program and global demo strategy.
This individual will be responsible for building the analytics infrastructure, KPI frameworks, and reporting mechanisms that allow us to measure the ROI of our tool investments and the efficacy of our demo methodologies. You will move beyond simple reporting to provide deep insights that drive strategic decision-making—helping leadership understand not just what tools and demos are being used, but how they are influencing revenue and deal velocity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytics Framework & Infrastructure: Partner with the Global Analytics team to create a "single source of truth" for Solution Engineering data. Design and maintain the datasets, views, and data pipelines required to track tool and demo performance.
  • Tools Program Analytics: Support the Solutions Tools Program Manager by analyzing license utilization, adoption rates, and spend efficiency. Provide data-driven recommendations on license renewals, true-ups, and potential cost-savings.
  • Pilot & Evaluation Measurement: Define success metrics for tool pilots and evaluations. Analyze quantitative feedback and usage data from pilots to support "Go/No-Go" purchasing decisions.
  • Demo Performance Insights: Analyze the broader Demos portfolio to understand trends in demo consumption, creation, and customization. Correlate demo activity with deal outcomes (conversion rates, cycle time, ACV) to validate the impact of our demo strategy.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards (Tableau, CRM Analytics) that provide real-time visibility into program health for stakeholders ranging from operational leads to executive leadership.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Translate complex data into actionable insights. Regularly prepare analysis and recommendations for Solutions CoE & Solutions leadership to support investment planning and resource optimization.
  • Business Reviews: Assist in developing data narratives and presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive updates, ensuring data accuracy and compelling storytelling.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify gaps in our data collection processes (e.g., how tool usage is tracked) and propose operational changes to improve data quality and reliability.
Skills/Expertise Required
  • Data Visualization & Storytelling: Expert proficiency in building compelling dashboards (Tableau, CRM Analytics/Einstein Analytics) and conveying complex data narratives via slide presentations (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
  • Analytical Rigor: 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, or business operations. Ability to structure complex problems and propose innovative solutions based on data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience aggregating and manipulating large datasets using SQL, SOQL, or similar analytical packages. Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required.
  • Operational Business Acumen: Ability to connect data to business outcomes. Experience working in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a Solutions Engineering environment is a major plus.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to navigate between technical teams (IT, Data Science) and non-technical stakeholders (Sales/Solutions Leadership) to move analytics projects forward.
  • Self-Starter: High degree of motivation to go above and beyond. Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving projects from idea to execution with minimal supervision.
  • Desired Experience:
    • Experience leveraging Snowflake is a plus.
    • Experience with Salesforce object architecture and reporting is highly preferred.
    • Background in management consulting, finance, or sales strategy is preferred.
