Senior Analyst, Revenue Management

POSITION SUMMARY:

Produce in-depth statistical analysis for optimizing hotel rooms. Monitor daily trends and assist to manage hotel inventory and implementing pricing strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and understand pricing, offers, trends and behaviour of regional markets and competitors.
• Assist in managing hotel inventory and room rates to maximize room resources and enterprise profitability.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc analytical reports to different departments for decision-making.
• Work to maximize room yield through control, room availability and propose up-selling tactics.
• Provide recommendation for room request from various business units.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Successful candidate must have at least two years of relevant work experience
• Candidate must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles
• Preference is given to candidate with gaming or hospitality experience

Education

• Candidate must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, gaming, statistics, finance, business administration, related fields are preferred.

Skills / Competencies  

• Candidates should have strong English writing and excellent Cantonese/Mandarin speaking skills
• Candidate must be near expert proficiency in MS Excel and quite strong in PowerPoint
• Work knowledge and understanding of various hotel operation systems and revenue management software, preference on technical skills in SAS, VBA, Opera, Vision, or Cognos
• Strong project management skill is a must
