As the Senior Analyst Quality Engineer, you will implement and participate in programs aimed at preventing product safety and quality problems from occurring. This includes collaborating with external suppliers and supporting completion of pre-commercialization quality activities ensuring material consistently meets quality requirements. You will have a background in quality engineering, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product development teams to ensure quality is driven into the product and manufacturing process at early stages of product development.

  • Develop product related quality success criteria, Production Line Qualification (PLQ)/Product and Process Validation (PPV)/ Molded Parts Qualification plans and related activities.

  • Ensure that the pre-commercialization quality activities are completed by actively participating in project teams, project reviews, and other forums.

  • Execute the Supplier Quality Assurance Audit (SQA) program for suppliers and Third-Party Manufacturers (3PM’s) for North America.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate Quality requirements, resolve issues, and obtain information on materials and processes used in the manufacture of products, or on items and equipment used in the Quality Assurance laboratories.

  • Conduct assessments of supplier/3PM facilities and Quality Management Systems.

  • Apply statistical techniques to develop and improve products and processes.

  • Work with suppliers on improvement actions needed to achieve improvements on SQA scores.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical or related discipline OR, military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

  • Minimum 3 years relevant Quality experience.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • High degree of initiative and integrity.

  • Experience with high-volume consumer products.

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing, OTC, Pharma or Automotive industry.

  • Preventive Quality tools (PAPP, FMEA, DOE, etc.).

  • ASQ Certification (CQE, CRE) or willing to obtain within 2 years.

  • Relevant Quality Engineering / Production process knowledge.

  • Experience in supplier development and quality system auditing.

  • Knowledge of applied statistics including process capability, sampling, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, acceptance, and sampling.

  • Microbiology and sanitary design knowledge.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Understanding of product development lifecycles, design change and document change control, product and process verification and validation methodologies, and manufacturing / production process control methodologies.

  • Effective communication within all levels of the organization around design verification and validation activities; production and process controls; Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA), consumer complaints, and product improvement activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Remote work is available once a week

  • This position is not eligible for domestic relocation

  • This is a full-time position located in Racine, WI
