As a key member of Western Union’s Quality Assurance team based in Buenos Aires (CABA), this role acts as a critical contributor in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions. The position is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards across applications, systems, and platforms within the Quality Assurance function.
Role Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms
Participate in end-to-end testing activities, including functional, system, integration, network, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Design, implement, and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and test coverage
Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure alignment on quality objectives
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and root cause analysis
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall product quality
Support release cycles by validating builds, performing regression testing, and ensuring readiness for production deployment
Analyze test results and provide clear reporting and insights on quality metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or related IT roles, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Proven experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management across different testing types
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to design and maintain scalable solutions
Knowledge of application, system, integration, and user acceptance testing within complex technology environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
Experience working in Agile or fast-paced development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and convey quality-related insights
Work Shift
