Overview
The Mastercard Public Sector team partners globally to help governments create sustainable, inclusive, and efficient economies while achieving commercial success. Our market leaders are supported by Global Public Sector team specializing in Agentic, CyberSecurity, Urban Mobility, Government Payments, SMEs, and Tourism.
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious professional to join our team and support governments, National Tourism Organizations (NTOs), Destination Management Organizations (DMOs), and tourism ecosystem partners globally.
The Senior Analyst, Tourism, Insights & Innovation will support the Vice President responsible for Tourism and the Vice President responsible for AI within Mastercard's Global Public Sector team. The role will drive tourism market intelligence, commercial opportunity development, AI-enabled innovation, and customer engagement activities globally.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the tourism industry, interested in emerging technologies, and able to connect Mastercard's capabilities with the priorities of governments and tourism stakeholders.
Role & Key responsibilities
Tourism Market Intelligence• Monitor global tourism trends, destination strategies, and government priorities.• Track developments across NTOs, DMOs, and the broader tourism ecosystem.• Identify opportunities where Mastercard's data, products, and partnerships can support tourism growth.• Translate industry insights into actionable opportunities for market teams.
Tourism Solution Enablement• Support the development of tourism-related customer narratives and value propositions.• Help position Mastercard as a trusted partner in tourism growth, destination competitiveness, and visitor experience.• Support sales opportunities through research, presentations, and executive briefings.• Develop customer-facing content and thought leadership materials.
AI & Innovation• Explore and develop AI-enabled use cases for governments, DMOs, and tourism organizations.• Identify innovative solutions that address tourism industry challenges.
All About You• Minimum 5 years of experience in tourism, consulting, innovation, public sector advisory, analytics, or related fields required.• Strong interest in the tourism industry and its evolving trends, with an understanding of tourism ecosystems, including governments, NTOs, DMOs, and industry stakeholders.• Ability to connect customer needs with Mastercard capabilities and solutions.• Passion for innovation, AI, and emerging technologies.• Experience supporting business development, strategic initiatives, or customer-facing engagements.• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Highly organized, curious, and comfortable working across multiple initiatives and geographies.• Collaborative team player with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.• Travel may be required.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. This posting reflects one or more current openings on our team.
Pay Ranges
Toronto, Canada: $83,000 - $132,000 CAD
