As a Senior Analyst - Pricing you will be responsible for price planning and price management. You will collaborate with pricing leadership to establish and implement pricing strategy and tactical plan. You will assist in leading workflow of pricing analysts, monitors pricing compliance, pricing analytics, and pricing and profitability fact finding process. You will suggest and implement enhancements to existing pricing processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Leads pricing analysts responsible for pricing administration. Mentors, coaches, and provides feedback.
- Makes complex price and profitability decisions for customers and customer segments.
- Manages margin and price optimization project teams to uncover deep rooted margin opportunities.
- Functions as pricing lead for customer audits and pricing special projects, including monitoring pricing compliance of branches and multi-million dollar customer contracts.
- Guides pricing strategy for potential customers for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO), and operating entities.
- Creates pricing model enhancements to develop efficiencies and improve metrics.
- Manages on-time deliverables of pricing submittals among multiple company stakeholders.
- Reviews pricing contractual terms and makes recommendations to improve company position and mitigate risk.
- Performs analysis to determine customer profitability and coordinates and presents findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
- 2 years required, 4 years preferred of pricing analyst experience.
- 1 years of proven leadership and coaching experience is preferred.
- 1 year of wholesale or retail distribution experience is preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of pricing structures and techniques.
- Strategic problem solver, able to assess complex situations.
- Ability to generate accurate and timely analysis using advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access or SQL.
