What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long-term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as cold calling, telesales.

Job Summary

Inside Sales Services is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.  Focus on driving increased sales to achieve the goals and objectives identified by Cardinal Health and the customer.

This role is identified as Cardinal Health’s Generic Pharmaceutical Inside sales team for Retail Independent Pharmacies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and sell existing customers on our Source Generic Portfolio

  • Identify new sales opportunities and promote Cardinal Health’s strategic priorities with clients within the assigned territory

  • Call on current and potential customers in an assigned geographical area, for the purpose of converting new business, maintaining current customers, and growing markets share

  • Demonstrate solution-based selling skills to analyze customer needs and consult with customers to recommend suitable services, products, and solutions to meet the customers' needs

  • Conduct effective presentations to various sized target audiences, including internal and external groups

  • Identify market intelligence on competitive activity, communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner; develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals

  • Converts existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and services and ensures sustained and expanded sales of these products and services

  • Create and maintain real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity utilizing automated customer relationship and sales management system

  • Successfully manage pipeline, forecast and sales strategy

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of customers' unique business needs related to Cardinal Health

  • Maximize customer relationships through timely routine contact with both new and existing customers

  • Build and sustain relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Initiate introductory calls with the objective of developing a long-term business relationship

  • Effectively negotiates and collaborates with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes

  • Functional knowledge of current applicable computer systems, and computer software/hardware processes and procedures 

  • Applies basic sales protocol by following appropriate sales presentation guidelines

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested and works effectively with other team members to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met

  • Participate in projects and other initiatives inside and/or outside of the assigned area, department or business unit, as needed
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field, preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience, preferred

  • Must be fluent in spoken and written Korean and English

  • Self-motivated to achieve goals

  • Extremely personable and team player

  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal

  • Ability to multi-task and strong process management skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Ability to work Monday – Friday during assigned territory time zone

Anticipated hourly range: $20.50 per hour - $32.23 per hour + incentive plan eligibility
