The Senior Analyst, Performance Marketing is a key contributor to the Performance Marketing team at Build‑A‑Bear. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end channel and campaign execution, day‑to‑day performance reporting, and ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The Senior Analyst is highly data‑driven, passionate about digital advertising and measurable results, and excels at building strong, collaborative relationships across internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively collaborate with a variety of internal and external partners to define requirements, creative and messaging, solicit feedback and confirm campaign and promotional details (timing, budget, messaging and expected outcomes)
- Partner with and take direction from the Sr Manager to develop Performance Marketing media mix & spend strategy
- Coordinate campaign execution, optimization, and delivery, ensuring campaigns drive qualified traffic and exceed KPI goals
- Ensure campaign and asset production (e.g., search copy, images, and video) is complete, accurate, and delivered on time by coordinating with internal teams and managing agency workflow in the workflow management platform
- Provide actionable and regular analysis and insights for performance marketing channels, identifying campaign and channel optimization opportunities, including tracking performance against budget and forecast goals
- Partner with Sr Manager on a testing roadmap and regularly conduct a variety of digital experiments.
- Stay current with Google, Meta, TikTok and other Performance Marketing best practices and emerging trends
- Leverage a range of available reporting tools to understand campaigns; including Paid Platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok etc.), Web Analytics (Google Analytics), and other tools (as directed)
- Develop and maintain a consistent reputation as a self-starter, collaborative and effective partner
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Passion for digital marketing
- A minimum of 2-5 years of day-to-day Paid Social and/or Paid Search campaign production and analytics (in-house or agency) required
- 1+ years of experience setting up digital experiments and/or tests in Paid Social or Paid Search
- Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, and/or Google Ads Certified preferred
- A working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and metrics, with an understanding of campaign settings and new innovations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Marketing Mix Models (MMM) or other advanced measurement approaches.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Efficient and effective at working cross functionally to collect requirements, respond to questions and complete tasks
- Excel enthusiast and power user with proven experience building forecasts, analyzing campaign performance, and budgeting in spreadsheets
- Strong analytical reasoning and planning skills

- Hybrid work schedule when within 45 miles of office
- Remote > 45 miles of office; domestic travel to office when required
