Organizational Overview:
Operations Reporting & Insights team provides Synchrony Operations Teams critical/important, timely, and accurate standardized reporting through direct stakeholder engagement. The Vision of the team is to build a better internal customer experience, one opportunity at a time
What we do:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Standardized Report Production
Adhoc data requests for Operations stakeholders, CFPB, Legal, Risk, etc.
New or adjustments to current report builds
Lead prioritization process for EO DWH Agile team
Partner with Data Governance Organization and connection into EDL for Operations.
Acting Data Steward for Operations Call Center data
Identify emerging technologies in support of Orgs Dissemination and Automation Strategy
New client/functionality integrations into all existing reporting
Work with DWH to ensure data projects are completed according to requirements

We utilize Agile tracking (JIRA Board) and build processes throughout the team
Explicitly task defined teams within the org. (Run, Engagement, and Data Management)
Production and initial validation through automation
Free flowing resource or work movement between teams based upon project skill needs
Metric based driven organization to determine team’s efficiency and effectiveness
Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Senior Analyst, Operations Analytics– You will be responsible for work on various business initiatives that contribute to Synchrony Financial growth and productivity objectives which includes work on different variety of tools like SAS, Tableau, etc for reports, key metrics and giving insights to the business on operational data. The role also involves in supporting other teams, identifying the process for automation, and streamlining them independently and are delivered on time.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Key Responsibilities:
Champion Customers
Maintain quality of output in Operations reporting and by ensuring accuracy & timely delivery of reports and projects
Production of reports as per the frequency without any misses
Document and maintain SOPs for Operations reporting processes
Act As Owners
Maintain and track ticket closures which are assigned
Document and maintain issue tracker. Ensure communication of RCA’s
Relate & Inspire
Collaborate with the larger teams and process owners on the business processes.
Able to work with minimal direction and take complete ownership but seeks input when appropriate
Elevate Every Day
Identifying the process for automation, streamline them and liaise with business with the ideas/approaches.
Creating Dashboards in Tableau.
Writing SAS & SQL code according to the business requirement.
Required Skills/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 1-2 years of SAS & SQL coding experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 3-4 years of SAS & SQL coding experience.
Experience with Building/Creating New Tableau Dashboard
Experience in setting up new reporting procedures and processes
Working experience in reporting processes
Strong written/oral communication skills
Able to work hours that compliment US, not necessarily match but have some degree of overlap.
Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge of Retail Finance Business
Writing python scripts
Strong Communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Proven ability to perform work independently
Desire to learn new elements of data preparation
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 1-2 years of SAS & SQL coding experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 3-4 years of SAS & SQL coding experience.
Work Timings: 1pm to 10pm IST
