ABOUT THE TEAM

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Data Vendors, the Senior Analyst, Market Data Vendors will work as part of a small team in managing end-to-end market data vendor relationships, including onboarding, implementation, budgeting, payment processing, and extensive internal client support. The PSP Market Data Vendors team currently manages a wide array of vendors across an extensive range of services and datasets. The Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining market data subscription inventory, responding to licensing requests and handling contract renewals. He or she will also work to improve the efficiency of the many operational tasks.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, Market Data Vendors, you’ll: 

  • Lead maintenance of the inventory of market data (moves, additions & cancellations) by proactively reaching out and collaborating with both internal clients, such as budget owners, and external vendors to ensure approvals for access data and contract terms validation

  • Act as primary contact person to validate and analyze internal clients’ needs within the context of contract renewals

  • Rigorously track each contract to plan its renewal and/or exit strategy in a timely manner and ensure that each step is correctly documented in the appropriate system (communications, decisions, etc.)

  • Prepare, negotiate and settle contractual agreements with suppliers, while working closely with internal stakeholders

  • Lead  invoice validation, processing and reconciliations

  • Guide and contribute to the coordination and alignment of business tools and processes to optimize deliverables (quality, time, etc.)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate in finance, accounting, computer science or other relevant field 

  • Between three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience

  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office programs such Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Other MS products such as Visio, PowerBI, Copilot, an asset

  • Previous experience with ServiceNow and/or TRG Optimize, an asset

  • Subject Matter expertise of market data, an asset

  • Previous experience with process optimization or automation, an asset

  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)

Skills Required
