Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, Logistics
Location: Orrville, OH
Work Arrangements: 100% onsite
In this role you will:
- Maintain and/or set-up transportation service companies to deliver materials or pick up of finished goods
- Develop and implement cost reduction and work process improvement projects when addressing other pertinent business partners; work collaboratively with 3rd party Service Company, Corporate Planning, Corporate Transportation, QA, Manufacturing and Purchasing
- Responsible for managing the delivery and receiving of raw materials and/or ingredients based on production schedule needs and priority
- Analyze and prioritize the use of warehouse capacity and capability balanced with identified constraints in order to optimize efficiencies.
- System Super User, trains others on all transactions
- Accountable for key outbound logistics results and systems; identify root cause & countermeasures for any gaps in results
- Monitor the performance of 3rd Party Service Company (if applicable), carriers and warehouses and intervenes when necessary to ensure on-time delivery
- Learn critical aspects of Production Planning or replenishment for the customer

- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ year of logistics or supply chain experience
- Demonstrated capability in analyzing data/situations, problem solving and attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Oracle and/or Supply Planning Systems
