SoundCloud’s Growth Marketing team is looking for a Senior Analyst, Lifecycle Marketing, who will be responsible for dissecting data to propel the lifecycle marketing strategy forward for both the fan and creator segments. You will play a pivotal role in identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities to enhance user retention, acquisition, and activation, ultimately contributing to SoundCloud's growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working east coast hours. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the analysis of campaign performance metrics such as CTR, conversion rate, LTV, and revenue to identify optimization opportunities
  • Develop and maintain actionable dashboards, reports, and training materials to empower cross-functional stakeholders with access to data
  • Design, track, and execute sophisticated tests and net new campaigns to continuously improve performance and achieve business goals
  • Execute campaigns within our ESP, ensuring optimization of tests and iterations for maximum impact
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to derive actionable insights from campaign data outside of the ESP to guide strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize business goals and measure the impact as it pertains to the lifecycle marketing strategy
  • Develop weekly/monthly reporting and dashboards to be shared with the executive team and other business partners
  • Demonstrate strong reporting and data visualization skills, guiding data interpretation with varied audiences

Experience and Background: 

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical role with a focus on growth/lifecycle marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, Looker, and/or Power BI, and SQL
  • Proficient experience with Google Analytics and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and/or Email Service Providers (ESPs)
  • Advanced Excel & SQL skillset
  • Understanding of attribution models and campaign measurement best practices
  • Hands-on experience with campaign optimization and performance analysis
  • Ability to develop and implement optimization strategies based on data insights
  • Experience working in the subscription application space highly desirable
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis-driven experimentation
  • Results-driven with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

The salary range for this role is $100,000-115,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location.
