A Brief Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst, Informatics to join our expanding Medicare risk adjustment analytics team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in building and evaluating various Medicare compliance programs. The primary responsibilities will include leading the reconciliation of data from various sources, identifying gaps in existing processes, and implementing efficient evaluation strategies for the Medicare programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating PMPM impact evaluation and collaborating with the pricing team to set goals for 2026. As part of your role, you will also utilize cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP to provide ad hoc reporting and valuable insights to the leadership team. What you will do
- Analyzes and interprets complex data to support decision-making processes and inform strategic initiatives within the organization.
- Performs advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive modeling to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
- Identifies trends, patterns, and correlations to support decision-making processes.
- Designs and develops reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders using tools such as business intelligence software or data visualization platforms to create compelling visual representations of data.
- Ensures data integrity, quality, and consistency by implementing data management strategies and protocols.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across departments, including clinicians, researchers, administrators, and executives, to understand their information needs and provide analytical support.
- Participates in research projects and evaluation studies related to informatics initiatives in order to assist with industry studies and advances.
- Contributes to the design, data collection, analysis, and reporting phases of research projects to generate evidence-based insights.
- Contributes to the improvement of informatics processes, methodologies, and analytical techniques within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with tools such as SAS, SQL, and scripting languages like Python or R, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS or GCP, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in deploying and managing data on these platforms.
- Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, with at least 1 year of experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data gaps, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions to improve data quality and efficiency in analytics processes.
Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare analytics, risk adjustment, HEDIS, claims/EHR and other care management data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights.
- Experience working in Databricks and ML.
- Proficiency in building end to end ETL process and migrating code using Pyspark/Pandas.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Masters degree preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
