Job Summary
The Senior HR Technology Analyst helps the HR function build and maintain a scalable, integrated, and future-ready HR technology foundation at HOOPP. This role supports the execution of the HR transformation roadmap through the design, development, testing, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions and related HR technologies.
As a member of the HR Technology & Operations team, the Senior HR Technology Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for HR technology solutions and partners closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance employee experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive adoption of new capabilities. The role also plays a key part in identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies across HR processes and services.
What you will do:
Maintain and support HR business processes within Workday.
Define requirements and participate in all configuration, testing, and implementation activities to support projects and service requests.
Create and maintain requirements documentation, configuration documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides to support system adoption.
Liaise with IT and vendor consultants to support solution delivery and stay current on product enhancements and best practices.
Help maintain the integrity and reliability of Workday, including security roles and group management.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday business processes, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Participate in semi-annual Workday release testing and implement enhancements aligned with the HR Technology roadmap.
Support internal HR users through demonstrations, training, documentation, and ongoing consultation.
Provide Level 1 support to end users by triaging, resolving, routing, or escalating incidents and requests through ServiceNow.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve employee and manager experiences through self-service, automation, and process improvements.
As the AI and automation SME for Human Resources, evaluate and implement opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies across HR processes and services.
Assist the Associate Director, Workday Solutions in planning and executing on an AI and automation strategy within Workday and beyond.
Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to assess new technologies, pilot innovative solutions, and support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.
Research industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience across HR technology.
What you bring:
Experience with HRIS/HCM systems and core HR functions such as HCM, Absence, Learning, Benefits, Talent, and Security.
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, workflow automation, or technology-enabled solutions.
Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, or emerging HR technologies and their application within business processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders on technology initiatives and projects.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative team player who promotes continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.
Preferred: Workday Functional Certifications and/or Workday Pro Certifications in one or more HCM modules.
Preferred: Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, ServiceNow workflows, RPA solutions, or similar technologies.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is: $86,000 - $131,000 CAD
The actual base salary offered to the successful candidate may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, individual's expertise and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
This role is eligible to participate in discretionary incentive plan(s), subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan text.
