Job Title: Taste Elevation Sr. Analyst - FP&A
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Position Overview
The FP&A Sr Analyst is part of the Global Capability Center (GCC) in Mexico City, supporting the Taste Elevation Finance Team based in Chicago. The Sr. FP&A Analyst contributes to core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Working under the guidance of FP&A Sr. Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance within a global FMCG environment and to develop analytical and business partnering skills in a fast-paced and multinational setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and performance dashboards for business review meetings;
- Support forecasting and budgeting cycles by consolidating data inputs, updating models, and validating accuracy;
- Perform variance analysis and highlight key drivers of performance vs. forecast, budget and last year;
- Collaborate with other team members to gather financial and operational data from different systems and sources;
- Maintain and enhance recurring reporting tools, templates and trackers using Excel and/or Power BI;
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting outputs;
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and requests from the Taste Elevation Finance Team in North America;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and automate processes within the FP&A team;
Qualifications
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
2. Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Controllership functions;
- Financial Business acumen, ideally within Food&Beverage or FMCG industries;
3. Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail;
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot) and knowledge of PowerPoint, Power BI is a plus;
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a global finance environment;
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
- Collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude;
