Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analysis of fraud and chargeback patterns for all BINs under Checkout’s global portfolio.

• Support development and implementation of fraud risk management strategies and solutions.

• Continuous assessment of scheme monitoring programs (e.g. VAMP, EFM, ECM) and their impact on Checkout’s merchant portfolio. 

• Provide oversight of First Line of Defence (FLOD) risk monitoring operations. 

• Apply industry-specific knowledge to enhance fraud risk detection and prevention mechanisms.

• Work closely with internal teams, including risk monitoring, compliance, legal and operations to align fraud risk strategies.

• Assess regional risk exposure and report findings to senior management.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related role.

• Solid understanding of Card Scheme monitoring programs.

• Experience building Looker dashboards and querying large datasets with SQL.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Proven track record of managing complex projects and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Well organized self-starter, able to prioritize quickly and meet deadlines even under pressure.
