Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned business unit to track and report on progress against financial goals. Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with analyzing cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
  • Performs daily profit and loss forecasting and analysis.
  • Monitors the financial inventory control process.
  • Working with branch management prepares annual budgeting.
  • Monitors client invoicing, AP, and AR for accuracy and completeness.  Will prepare customer invoices or work directly with the Billing Team to prepare them.
  • Builds databases and develops queries and calculations for financial reports.
  • Analyzes and evaluates key elements of the assigned customer's program such as 3rd party expense analysis, order activity trends, inventory control and key performance metrics.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in a financial role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle, MS Excel and MS Access or other data management experience.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix-structured environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Journal Entry experience
  • Essbase/Hyperion Experience

Education

  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field or equivalent combination of education
    and experience
