Position Summary
Vector Media is searching for a Senior Analyst, Finance & Analytics in New York to join our Finance Department. The Senior Analyst, Finance & Analytics will report to the EVP of Finance. This position is responsible for serving as a strategic partner to the CFO and EVP of Finance by translating complex datasets into persuasive narratives that drive executive alignment. You will act as a "force multiplier" for leadership, providing high-velocity analytical support for capital events, revenue optimization, and strategic growth initiatives.
Pay Range Details: $90,000- $110,000 per year
The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience: 3–6 years in high-intensity finance (Investment Banking, PE Portfolio Co, or Strategic FP&A).
  • Technical Agility: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
  • Storytelling DNA: Proven ability to translate financial data into persuasive narratives for decks and in-person presentations.
  • Analytical Toolkit: Resourcefulness with SQL, Power Query, and AI to automate workflows.
What You’ll Do:
  • Strategic Storytelling: Build narratives around performance, pricing, and channel health to drive consensus among the CRO and VP of Pricing.
  • Force Multiplication: Provide ad-hoc modeling for capital events and "what-if" scenarios for growth initiatives.
  • Revenue Partnership: Identify margin leakage and yield optimization opportunities as the analytical bridge for Sales.
  • Agile Analytics: Manage the Tableau/Excel environment focusing on the "80/20" rule—actionable insights today over perfect data next week.
  • Hybrid Execution: Utilize the "Curtain" workflow—brainstorming strategies in person, then executing technical builds with autonomy.
