The Senior Analyst, Data Science will discover underlying trends in data and system behavior, derives value-add information from these discoveries, and contributes to customer satisfaction and revenue generation by implementing changes based on findings.


The Senior Analyst, Data Science will perform analysis on data supply chain, match reference, and experiential (system behavioral) data, as well as perform testing & diagnosis, and drive functionality changes to create continuous improvement in a key customer-facing capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform interaction analyses, and experiential and reference data analyses to recognize trends and improve best demonstrated practices focusing on non-deterministic, non-regressive identity resolution-related data science.
  • Perform analysis on large datasets to make and implement recommendations for maximizing customer experience.
  • Create/maintain documentation available on Sales Spot, our Sales-facing repository.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements in Identity Resolution processes, utilizing innovative approaches to enhance effectiveness and Match Insight.
  • Lead and / or participate in customer match analyses using best demonstrated practices, presenting findings to Sales and customer-facing support teams.
  • Bring new projects forward from ideation to proof of concept and impact assessment.
  • Work closely with related groups to ensure business continuity.
  • Work as a member of one or more agile teams, using lean principles and SCRUM methodology.
  • Leverage advanced analytical skills to collect, organize, and deliver large datasets from multiple channels and sources, ensuring comprehensive data integration.
  • Provide technical expertise in various analytical tasks, including design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Review and test data to ensure it meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Develop visual analytics tools by designing and creating dashboards in tools such as Power BI.
  • Proactively analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues, assess their criticality, escalate for timely resolution, and lead problem-solving efforts.
  • Develop a variety of database query and visualization tools to identify and understand platform issues or events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data compilation, analysis, and quality assurance.
  • Provide analysis and drive modern solutions and efficiencies in our processes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Required
  • Master’s Preferred

Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
  • A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years experience understanding, leveraging, diagnosing, and driving improvement in sophisticated functional capabilities
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Python, or similar querying languages /tools
  • Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful business insight.
  •  Results-oriented and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent organization, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
