Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Data Enablement Team, a new team within the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) organization focused on making data more accessible, trusted, and actionable for business users. This role is ideal for a strong analytics professional who enjoys solving data problems, partnering with stakeholders, and helping build practical data solutions that improve how teams work.

In this role, the individual will contribute to the advancement of the CFO data strategy by helping develop strategic data sets, improving access to data for self-service use, and supporting the delivery of scalable analytics and reporting solutions. The role offers the opportunity to work across business and technology partners, apply modern tools and techniques, and help shape best practices for data quality, governance, and usability within assigned data domains.

This position goes beyond traditional reporting and visualization work and is well suited for someone who is excited by the opportunity to help build a growing data enablement capability, explore emerging technologies including AI, and deliver data solutions that drive efficiency and better decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a key contributor to the Data Enablement Team in support of the CFO data strategy, helping to expand the team’s impact beyond data visualization to broader data enablement and strategic data management.
  • Develops, enhances, and maintains strategic data sets that improve consistency, usability, and trust in data for business stakeholders.
  • Enables faster, more efficient access to data for users through self-service solutions, streamlined data workflows, and scalable delivery models.
  • Prepares visualizations and delivers results to management and other leaders; partners with business subject matter experts to provide recommendations and communicate observed outcomes to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Translates business requirements into scalable data solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data architecture, governance policies, and business priorities.
  • Leads cross-functional groups to define requirements and supports the development of project plans, use cases, user stories, and business cases.
  • Independently performs advanced and moderately complex statistical, quantitative, and analytical work in support of assigned business areas.
  • Partners with business subject matter experts and technology teams to identify opportunities to improve analytical capabilities, enhance data accessibility, and modernize data solutions.
  • Stays abreast of developments in data, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, and evaluates opportunities to apply them to improve efficiency, insights, and user enablement.
  • Champions data governance best practices by promoting data integrity, quality, security, compliance, and appropriate use of data across analytics and data enablement activities.
  • Collaborates with data stewards and data owners to implement and enhance data management frameworks, metadata standards, and data lineage documentation within assigned data domains.
  • Supports the development and enforcement of data access controls, privacy protocols, and governance standards in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data delivery timeliness and accuracy, and strengthen the overall user experience for data consumers.
  • Validates and reviews outputs to ensure analytical results and data solutions address identified business needs.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced team members by sharing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Experience working in data analytics, business intelligence, data enablement, data management, or a related function

Preferred:

  • Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Alteryx
  • Experience building or supporting strategic data sets, curated data assets, or self-service data solutions
  • Experience working with metadata, data lineage, data definitions, and domain-based data ownership models
  • Experience supporting or applying data governance, data quality, and data management best practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise data architecture concepts and scalable data solution design
