As a Senior Cost Analysts, you will be responsible and accountable for managing supplier costs for an assigned group of suppliers. You will perform various functions, which primarily involves providing analytic and technical expertise necessary to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve business problems. You will work closely with suppliers, category managers, finance, supply chain and commercial to ensure accuracy, integrity and completeness of assigned deliverables, including supplier cost file maintenance and standard cost governance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed data analysis on cost data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new features.
- Mentorship of analysts and associate analysts to provide real-time support to commercial and corporate teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
- Responsible for establishing appreciation and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
- Processes and monitors third party price and data submissions, including daily and published pricing events.
- Supports analysts to manage workload responsibilities during high volume times.
- Assigned special projects in support of Cost Management Group.
- SME assistance with training, documentation, and user acceptance training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- Masters Degree is preferred.

- Documenting business processes, creating training plans
- Previous experience in a Procure to Pay Function
- Work in supply chain, finance, operations
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Ability to interact and work with management and peers.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both orally and in writing.
- High paced environment, meet deadlines.
