ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Senior Analyst will support strategic decision making across the global enterprise by ensuring quality costing and inventory standards, data, and process. This role requires strong technical, reporting, and system skills, as well as the ability to work and communicate globally. There is high visibility, as the role will collaborate with departmental leadership to drive the efficient completion of compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Compliance:

  • Monitor and review SOX controls related to entity-level and manufacturing controlling areas timely and effectively, as well as any quarterly or year-end compliance matters.

  • Lead resolutions around auditor questions, deficiencies, errors, or other breakdowns in process or design.

  • Take ownership of compliance deliverables, ensuring the timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of materials sent to stakeholders or business partners.

Global Controlling:

  • Implement recommendations related to manufacturing controlling, including standard costing approaches, inventory counts, and policy.

  • Serve as liaison with enabling functions and business operations to design and implement internal controls and process improvements.

  • Support cross-functional projects involving restructuring, M&A activities, and divestitures across multiple jurisdictions.

Global Business Partnering:

  • Proactively engage with business partners to support compliance reporting obligations and educate on important processes or underlying principles.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the Controllership function.

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely financial information in accordance with internal policy and global regulatory requirements.

Global Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Improve operating procedures to deliver accurate and timely outputs within an efficient delivery model.

  • Implement improvements to financial reporting processes, systems, and tools to increase the efficiency and accuracy of deliverables.

  • Contribute to initiatives ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Support the enablement of business partners by introducing globally standardized tools to help deliver effective and efficient results.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA (or local equivalent) preferred.

  • 5- 8 years of experience in manufacturing controllership and/or cost accounting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Prior experience with digital AI tools, such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power tools, etc, preferred.

  • Proven accountability for delivering results under strict timelines.

  • Excellent organizational skills, strong analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Experience in a dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
