How you will make contributions that matter...
The analyst position is responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, ensuring customer contract compliance, and enabling the overall financial success of Saputo within their assigned channel.
Key business responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the evaluation of select new business opportunities by coordinating a cross functional team to determine the optimal pricing structure to offer to customers that maximizing profit while securing the business within their channel.

Ensure compliance with all financial aspects of customer contracts within their assigned channel.

Identify and analyze customer margin issues and actionable insights.
-
Maintain a complete understanding of the customer specific requirements ensuring all aspects are considered and communicated in an accurate and timely manner.

Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and automate business processes.
-
Implement efforts to align processes within and across channels to enable transparency and consistency of results.
-
Lead or participate in customer pricing calls demonstrating dairy knowledge and its application on price and cost.

Power user / subject matter expert of the tools in the department.

Provide ad hoc reporting to Senior Management to support their decision-making process.

Perform other related duties as required.

Work closely with the sales organizations, customers, and other members of the corporate organization, as needed, to resolve price discrepancies.

Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or some similar discipline. An advanced degree or professional qualifications is a plus.

Experience - 2+ years’ finance experience in consumer-packaged goods or similar industry.

Strong understanding of market movements, pricing and overall financial analysis/levers, critical reasoning/thinking, problem solving, project management and cross-functional collaboration/influencing skills.

Have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, are fact-based.

Have quantitative analysis experience with an emphasis on pricing administration.

Have computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access). SAP experience preferred.

Are a leader who can influence across multiple functions, disciplines, and within own team.

Have strong verbal and written communication skills to assist in translating data insights for understanding.

Salary Range: $70,050 to $91,950
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
