About The Role
Senior Analyst – Capital Markets, APACAbout the RoleKnight Frank’s APAC Capital Markets team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the origination and execution of real estate transactions across the region, with a particular focus on cross-border capital flows. This role will combine advanced financial analysis, market intelligence and transaction execution, working closely with senior brokers and global capital partners across all sectors.
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting Knight Frank’s capital markets platform, providing analytical and execution support across acquisitions, divestments and capital raising mandates. This role provides exposure to high-profile transactions and cross-border capital flows, with the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility within a growing team. The position requires strong financial modelling capability, commercial acumen and collaboration between key stakeholders within Knight Frank’s APAC Capital Markets network.
Senior Analyst – Capital Markets, APACWhat You Will Be DoingTransaction Analysis & Execution
- Lead financial analysis and underwriting of real estate opportunities across APAC.
- Build, own and maintain detailed financial models for real estate transactions across multiple asset classes (DCF, development and joint ventures).
- Develop and maintain templates and model libraries to improve team efficiency across recurring transaction types
- Prepare investment return analysis across multiple capital structures, including levered and unlevered returns, preferred equity, mezzanine and joint venture structures
- Assist in managing transaction processes from mandate through to completion with a focus on financial analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Support the preparation of IMs, pitch decks and client presentations - translating complex financial analysis into clear, compelling narrative.
- Track investor engagement on regional sales campaigns and capital raise mandates
Investor Engagement
- Support senior team members in origination and pitch activity.
- Interact with institutional and private capital, compiling data on investment strategies.
- Maintain and update investor intelligence and capital flow insights.
- Work alongside capital intelligence team to maintain proprietary data.
- Assist in preparing client presentations and investment strategy materials.
Market Intelligence & Research
- Develop market analysis across key sectors including office, retail, industrial, living and alternative assets.
- Monitor capital markets activity, pricing trends and investor appetite.
- Contribute to internal databases covering capital markets activity, investment flows, yield movements and macro trends across APAC real estate markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity or advisory.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch.
- Detailed understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, valuation and capital markets.
- Experience supporting real estate transactions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Exposure to APAC and/or Australian / European real estate markets.
- Experience working with institutional and private capital on cross-border transactions.
- Familiarity with real estate transaction processes and investment structures.
