We are currently looking for a Sr. Analyst, Business Strategy to join our team in Mississauga, ON.
A Day in the Life:
Mid-Term & Long-Term Planning (Volume & Financial Simulation)
Conduct macroeconomic analysis of Total Industry Volume (TIV), foreign exchange trends, and market segmentation using internal and external data sources. Lead development of mid- and long-term planning assumptions for Nissan and INFINITI, including volume, carflow, and related business inputs. Lead development of the sales volume forecast for NCI executive review and approval. Maintain and continuously improve financial simulation models used to support business planning and decision-making. Partner with Finance, After-Sales, NCF, DND, and other stakeholders to align assumptions and planning inputs. Manage responses to requests from NNA, NML, and IML related to planning assumptions, forecasts, and strategic outlook.
GHG Emissions & Zero-Emission Compliance Strategy
Develop forecasts and provide insights to support NCI’s GHG emissions performance and Federal/Provincial Zero-Emission Mandate compliance strategies, reporting to Governance Affairs and Regulatory Compliance. Conduct analysis of trim and powertrain mix across current and future Nissan and INFINITI portfolios to assess potential impacts on emissions performance and ZEV positioning. Prepare and communicate detailed reporting and analysis related to GHG emissions and Zero-Emission Mandates to NCI stakeholders, NNA, and NML, ensuring alignment with inputs from Governance Affairs and Regulatory Compliance
Sales Forecasting & Planning
Lead TIV, PTIV, and segment forecasting for Nissan and INFINITI. Develop and maintain EV-specific market and segment forecasts to support product, volume, and compliance planning. Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and macroeconomic indicators to inform forecast assumptions.
Product Life Cycle Expense Planning (LCEP)
Manage the LCEP process, including long-term carflow and C&I planning to support the Mid-Term Plan (MTP). Review LCEPs across new and existing Nissan and INFINITI products to ensure planning alignment and financial accuracy. Develop analyses and presentations to support PD/PMO business planning discussions. Partner closely with Marketing, Product Planning, PMO, and PD teams to support planning and approval processes. Support contract finalization with PDs/OPDs where required.
Predictive Modelling & Analytics
Develop and maintain predictive modelling tools that integrate planning, BI, and compliance inputs. Enable automated scenario analysis across volume, mix, regulatory, and financial outcomes. Translate modelling outputs into clear business insights that support strategic decision-making and trade-off evaluation. Improve model accuracy, usability, automation, and data integration over time. Identify opportunities to strengthen forecasting and scenario planning capabilities through advanced analytics.
Executive Reporting Support
Support preparation of executive presentations related to MTP/LTP planning, and market outlook. Provide market, consumer, and business insights for visiting regional and global executives. Present findings in a concise, executive-ready format tailored to the audience and decision required.

- University degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 5–7 years of experience in planning, business analytics or forecasting within an automotive OEM or a related industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using data visualization and analytics tools to create dashboards, business insights, and executive-ready reporting.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex business and market data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Desired:
- Experience with predictive modelling, statistical analysis, or scenario-based decision tools.
- Familiarity with GEV/ZHG compliance frameworks or related regulatory planning. Experience leading or supporting large-scale transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives.

Mississauga Ontario CanadaSalary Range:
$91,573.00 - $119,436.00This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles.
