The Sr. Financial Analyst LATAM will be responsible for supporting accounting operations across the LATAM region, with primary focus on Brazil. This role will manage reporting under US GAAP and multi-currency, ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, and maintain strong internal controls (SOX). The analyst will interact with regional and global teams, participate in internal and external audits, and ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information.
The Senior Analyst for Business Performance & Processes is responsible for supporting the design, optimization, and governance of cross-functional business processes that drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment. This role partners with multiple business functions to analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, develop process documentation, and provide data-driven insights that support effective decision-making.
The position plays a key role in enabling process consistency, supporting governance requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
What Your Impact Will Be
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze, document, and optimize business processes across functions including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Commercial, and other key business areas.
- Develop process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and related documentation.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, recommending solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand business requirements and align process improvements.
- Facilitate process discussions, workshops, and working sessions to drive consistency and alignment.
- Support the definition of process ownership, accountability, and governance structures.
Strategic Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct data analysis and business assessments to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor process performance.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership teams.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain process documentation, version control, and change management records.
- Support audit readiness efforts by ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
Change Management Support
- Contribute to the implementation of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Develop communication resources to support adoption efforts.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and user experience.
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 5 years of experience in process improvement, business operations, strategic planning, consulting, project management, or related analytical roles.
- Fluent english
- Experience working on cross-functional initiatives and business transformation projects.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and develop actionable recommendations.
