Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

  • Perform cost accounting activities, including:

    • Allocation and analysis of direct and indirect costs.

    • Monitoring actual versus budgeted costs.

    • Conducting variance analysis and providing insights on cost performance.

  • Support budget accounting processes, including:

    • Assisting in the development of annual revenue and expense budgets.

    • Monitoring budget utilization and financial performance.

    • Supporting fund control and measurement of operating results.

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

  • Handle billing, invoicing, and payment-related activities.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of financial records and resolution of discrepancies.

  • Prepare and maintain financial documentation, reports, and records.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to finance and business teams.

  • Execute specialized accounting and operational tasks to support business operations efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fluent Spanish speaking capability is mandatory.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial processes, and controls.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, AP/AR, billing, and invoicing activities.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
