We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Senior Analytics and Metrics Analyst to support automation and data analytics initiatives within the Finance domain. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and building efficient data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial and operational reporting that supports business planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes) that consolidate and transform data from multiple sources to support Finance reporting (Financial and Workforce data), analytics, and planning activities.
Partner with Finance leaders and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
Improve and automate existing Finance processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that help drive business outcomes.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance efforts to ensure confidence in reporting.
Research and implement new approaches, tools, and best practices that enhance Finance analytics and reporting capabilities.
Assist in translating business requirements into automated or technology-enabled solutions when appropriate.
All About You
Experience working in Finance, FP&A or a related business analytics function.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated process improvement mindset and a desire to challenge the status quo.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms.
Intermediate coding or scripting experience (SQL, Python, PySpark, or similar) preferred. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data and automation tools.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Comfortable working through ambiguity and helping define new processes.
Ability to adhere to the company's hybrid in-office work policy.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $88,000 - $141,000 USD
