How you will make an impact:
- Working close liaison with Kuala Lumpur BSG team to support payments process including purchase orders, invoices, and expense report
- Recording and managing management accruals
- Processing payroll related accounting including monthly payroll, fringe benefit, pension, vacation accrual, bonus and etc. with close communication with HR
- Monitoring and maintain supplier master
- Managing my number for withholding tax report for Health Care Professionals
- Responding to enquiries from employees regarding purchase order and expense report
- Managing prepaid account
- Performing monthly reconciliation
- Recording statutory adjustment and keeping track on tax adjustments
- Working with external tax consultant on tax returns (Corporate income tax returns and VAT returns)
- Updating SOX documentation
- Leading or participating in on-going/ad-hoc projects (either global/local)
What you’ll need (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance and/or accounting)
- More than 3 years of accounting experience in global company and/or public accounting firm
- Language preference : Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
- CPA License (either Japan or US) is plus
- Ability to utilize independent judgment in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of information
- Proficiency in MS Office application and ERP packages (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE, and etc.)
- Ability to work cordially with people of different backgrounds in the organization
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must be customer friendly and focused with strong attention to detail
