The Senior Regional Application Engineer (RAE) is the primary technical interface with Services Sales/ Users & Internal Cross-functional teams during the R1 Solutioning phase (i.e. prior to R2-Phase). The RAE is responsible for defining the best technical configuration and solution for our customer
This position also involves leading individual Daily Management (DM), and some Continuous Improvement projects within the team.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Provide technical partnership for R1 Solutioning for the assigned region/ customers
· Assure quality of R1 Solutioning and RAE tasks
· Facilitate and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as Global Sales, Commercial, Sales and Engineering.
· Provide leadership to R1S projects
. Provide proposal support as needed
· Focus on proactive RAE engagement and strive for innovation to bring change.
· Mentor others on the team including Leadership Program individuals.
. Lead CI projects, run data analysis based on RAE throughputs.
. Maintain individual rigor on Daily Management of thier activiities
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
· At least 12 years of engineering experience in the Gas Power Plant industry
. At least 5 years of customer-facing engineering experience
. Knowledgeable in Power generation industry trends and competition
. Must be willing and able to travel (10-20%)
Desired Characteristics:
· Master’s degree in Engineering
. Prior Application Engineering experience
.Comprehensive knowledge of GEV plant product portfolio
· Six Sigma training / LEAN experience
· Change Management experience
· Familiarity with R-process
. Knowledgeable in Power generation industry trends and competition

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $124,500.00 and $207,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
