About the jobWe are currently looking for a 'Senior AI Web Developer (RAG, LLM)' to strengthen our Cronos Europa Team.
The Senior AI Web developer (RAG, LLM) will contribute to the design and implementation of AI assistants and solutions supporting the customer's staff in accessing, understanding and using institutional knowledge and increasing their efficiency.
Location: Near-site (accessible within 2 hours from Brussels) - Hybrid.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and implement AI solutions including retrieval pipelines, model orchestration and prompt strategies. Configure, fine-tune and integrate AI and generative models for specific business use cases.
- Experiment with different retrieval strategies, prompt designs, architectures and parameters to optimise solution quality and performance.
- Perform data pre-processing and analysis, gather and clean datasets, ensure data is relevant and structured.
- Evaluate AI solutions outputs, analyse results and iteratively refine solutions.
- Ensure AI systems are compliant, scalable, efficient and capable of handling large data volumes or near real-time processing.
- Contribute to data engineering activities supporting AI and generative AI solutions.
- Collaborate with business units, clients and IT teams to align AI solutions with organisational needs.
You have a Master's degree
Technical Skills- Practical hands-on experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of AI systems, including generative AI systems.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, including document ingestion, retrieval and generation.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) via APIs or open-source models including prompting, orchestration and configuration.
- Experience in data analysis and data structuring applied to AI.
- Ability to design effective prompt templates and system instructions, adapted to specific business use cases and tone of voice.
- Experience implementing or integrating AI solutions on cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure).
- Experience with data storage solutions, such as SQL, NoSQL and data lakes.
- Good programming skills in Python.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and attention to detail.
