As a Senior AI Technical Product Owner , you bridge product vision and engineering execution, translating ML/AI solutions into feasible, implementable technology. You collaborate closely with the AI Solution Manager to adapt solution intent to delivery realities. You apply systems engineering practices to drive clarity, quality, and successful outcomes across cross‑functional teams. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, you support delivery through hands‑on contribution, mentoring, and customer engagement when needed.

As a Senior AI Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the AI Solution Manager to preserve solution intent while adapting to execution realities

  • Contribute to architectural and technical decision‑making to ensure feasibility and technical completeness

  • Manage the initiative backlog, writing clear, unambiguous features and user stories

  • Assess technical complexity to support estimation, planning, and delivery commitments

  • Lead technical deep‑dives and requirements workshops with engineers and specialists

  • Support AI/ML use case definition, data readiness, and model evaluation to inform delivery decisions

  • Act as the primary technical interface for stakeholders during execution, communicating key issues and progress

  • Execute and support design, analysis, testing, integration, and prototyping using sound engineering practices

To be successful in this role you will:  

  • Have a solid software engineering foundation (architectures, REST APIs, microservices, cloud)

  • Have working knowledge of AI/ML platforms and techniques (Azure, OpenAI, Databricks, LangChain)

  • Have the ability to write clear, high‑quality features and user stories executable without ambiguity

  • Have strong analytical and systems‑thinking skills to evaluate architecture, impacts, and trade‑offs

  • Be execution‑focused, pragmatic, and detail‑oriented

  • Have experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring)

  • Have the ability to apply systems engineering methodologies (requirements, architecture, integration, risk management)

  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work across disciplines and support others as an SME or mentor

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 To 70,400.
The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
