Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision, conceives, develops and implements algorithms for medical datasets analysis, including (but not limited to), CT, MR, Ultrasound, 3D rotational angiography (3D RA), for the purpose of extracting features, attributes and labels from these datasets, both on pixel/voxel level and from the data metaheaders.
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision, conceives, develops and implements algorithms that statistically evaluate features, attributes and labels from large number of datasets, and presents the statistical summaries.
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision, conceives, develops and implements algorithms based on machine learning, artificial intelligence and deep learning, with the aim to extract features, attributes and labels from the medical imaging datasets and related metaheaders and clinical records.
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision, based on established workflows and regulations, conceives, develops and implements algorithms with the aim to verify and validate results of other algorithms and image-processing modules developed at RAPID.AI.
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision, creates and reviews technical and scientific documentation directly or indirectly related to the algorithms and image-processing modules developed at RAPID.AI.
- Self-sufficiently, and without daily supervision and in cooperation with other teams, develops algorithms and statistical models that report, analyze and validate performance and accuracy of algorithmic methods and image-processing modules developed at RAPID.AI.
- Within specific tasks and tasks assigned, provides training, education and supervision of other RAPID.AI employees and team members, by creating documents, presentations and reports, and helps supervising more junior members of the algorithm team in their assignments.
- Supports team members of RAPID.AI in deployment, regular use and troubleshooting of algorithms and image-processing modules developed at RAPID.AI.
- This position does not have direct reports.
- Perform any other related activities assigned by reporting manager.
Education, Experience, And Qualification
- Master’s degree or equivalent, in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Theoretical or Applied Math or related engineering fields,
- 4+ years of experience with algorithm development (employee participation in a PhD program in engineering fields directly related to the medical software algorithm development counts towards the years of experience).
