We're looking for a Senior AI Research Engineer to join Rossum's product-oriented applied AI Research team. You'll help us with the following questions and challenges:How can we design and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions that solve complex document processing problems, from initial concept to robust production deployment?
What are the most effective ways to integrate the latest AI/ML trends and technologies into our platform, continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible?
How do we ensure our AI solutions are not only performant and reliable but also seamlessly integrated and impactful for our users and customers?
You'll be responsible for:
Driving end-to-end AI projects: From idea generation and model prototyping to deployment, ensuring smooth transitions and robust performance in production.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, AI Platform, and Data Annotation teams to identify high-impact use cases and deliver significant business value.
Contributing to platform evolution by staying on top of AI/ML trends, evaluating new technologies, and integrating them into our platform.
Championing quality & reliability, ensuring that AI solutions are performant, reliable, well-monitored, and maintainable.
Mentoring and leading junior researchers or engineers, sharing best practices, and helping maintain high engineering standards.
Our product-oriented applied AI Research team operates with an agile workflow and scientific method at its core, embracing research, experimentation, and iterative development. You'll take end-to-end ownership of your work, with the freedom to innovate and shape the product. You'll directly contribute to Rossum's mission by building the AI backbone that is redefining how companies process critical information globally.
You'll work closely with a dedicated Tech Lead and Product Manager to ensure your work delivers maximum value. You'll also collaborate with the AI Platform and Annotation teams, all led by Rossum co-founder Tomáš Tunys.
You'll also have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what's possible with machine learning and AI in a fast-paced environment, directly impacting our global product.
