The Role

NVIDIA is at the forefront of AI and accelerated computing, driving innovation across industries. We are seeking a highly prestigious and impactful AI Networking Optimizations Architect to join our Networking Insights group. In this strategic role, you will serve as the critical bridge between AI architects, product and marketing teams, and our world-class architecture and engineering groups. To convert real-world AI workload challenges into actionable optimizations and new directions for our networking solutions, ensuring NVIDIA remains the leader in AI-driven networking.

What you'll be doing:

  • Proactively locate and interview internal and external AI users whose outside traditional networking domains-to identify optimization opportunities and unmet needs.

  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize input from marketing and product teams, translating them into clear, actionable challenges for relevant architects.

  • Lead and champion special networking optimizations for AI workloads, and innovative use cases for emerging AI paradigms.

  • Collaborate closely with the application networking team and deep learning architecture group to evaluate proposed optimizations in simulations, and modeling.

  • Support and guide the optimization process for future networking products, ensuring our products set new industry standards.

  • Continuously track breakthroughs in the AI landscape, to identify disruptive trends and opportunities as early as possible.

  • Perform initial quantified evaluations of optimization ideas, developing compelling, data-driven cases that motivate leadership to invest in new directions.

What we need to see:

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including several years in a product-focused role.

  • Deep understanding of networking products and systems, with demonstrated experience in translating technical challenges into product innovations.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, architecture, and engineering teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience conducting in-depth, quantifiable evaluations of technical ideas.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical subjects in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
