Senior AI/ML Engineer

The Role:
You will be pivotal in developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms used in our video collaboration products. As part of a collaborative group of developers and ML researchers, your work will enhance the user experience in conference rooms worldwide. Your role will involve building and improving software that supports thousands of daily users, emphasizing innovation and quality.

- Curate annotated images to train Computer Vision/Machine Learning (CV/ML) algorithms/models.
- Augment images to simulate various real-life conditions.
- Write C++ and Python code to build and enhance the training platform for CV models.
- Research existing research papers on CV, enhance existing Open Source models, and incorporate novel techniques or develop new algorithms from scratch to address complex use cases for the Logitech Video Collaboration platform.
- Optimize CV algorithms for embedded platforms running Android or Linux Operating Systems.
- Perform QA/validation on newly trained models and provide feedback to the development team on failure cases.

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
- Strong background in computer vision and graphics or image processing.
- Knowledge of linear algebra fundamentals and optimization.
- Experience with popular deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, or PyTorch.
- Ability to research, prototype, and implement new algorithms in production-level code on an embedded platform (Linux/Android).
- Proficiency in coding with C/C++, Python, Lua, R, Matlab, or a related language.
- Experience in using Source Control/Project Tracking systems like Github or Jira.
- At least one completed complex, real-world CV project as a CV developer with algorithm implementation.
- 3+ years as a Computer Vision/Machine Learning engineer with real-world experience in training framework and tools (TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch), model compression, and inference optimization.
