ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a high-octane Senior AI Engineer to redefine our development velocity and product capabilities. You won’t just be writing code; you will be building the "engine that builds the engine."
Your mission is threefold:
- AI Dev-Acceleration: Architecting AI agents to automate the "boring stuff"—code reviews, test generation, and CI/CD bottlenecks.
- Product Innovation: Engineering complex, AI-driven workflows within our Patient and Provider portals.
- Infrastructure as Code: Ensuring our GCP environment and AI pipelines are scalable, reproducible, and fully automated.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Orchestration: Design and deploy autonomous agents to automate dev processes (e.g., automated PR summaries, synthetic test data generation, and self-healing test suites).
- Workflow Automation: Build and maintain complex product workflows leveraging LLMs and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to enhance user experiences.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Own the cloud architecture using Terraform or Pulumi to ensure GCP resources (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) are version-controlled and reproducible.
- Full-Stack Development: Maintain and evolve our dual-portal ecosystem:
- Backend: Node.js, Express, and TypeORM (PostgreSQL).
- Frontend: React (v17 & v18) using modern state management and routing (Zustand, TanStack).
- DevOps Mastery: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Google Cloud Build) that handle both application code and AI model versioning.
Technical Stack Requirements
The Essentials
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering with a "Go-getter" mindset—you see a bottleneck and you automate it before being asked.
- Backend: Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and TypeORM (PostgreSQL).
- Frontend:
- React 17, MUI v5, TanStack Query v4, Zustand.
- React 18, MUI v5, TanStack Query v5, TanStack Router v1.
- Cloud & IaC: Strong proficiency in GCP and Terraform.
- AI/LLM: Practical experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vertex AI).
The "Go-Getter" Qualities
- Systemic Problem Solver: You don’t just fix bugs; you build tools to prevent entire classes of errors.
- High Autonomy: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can take a high-level goal from "idea" to "production-ready."

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector).
- Knowledge of AI observability tools (e.g., LangSmith, Weights & Biases).
- Experience in healthcare tech or building HIPAA-compliant systems is a huge plus.
