We are in search of a skilled Sr. AI/ML Engineer to enhance our dynamic team In the role of AI/ML Senior Engineer, you will focus on hands-on engineering and development work, driving the creation and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions within our various research and development projects. In the role you will work collaboratively with data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions, addressing a range of business challenges. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining machine learning models, crafting advanced algorithms, and ensuring the scalability and robustness of our AI systems.

A typical day might include the following:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models, algorithms, and solutions to analyze complex biological and pharmaceutical data.

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and contribute to project goals, requirements, and work you're doing.

• Create and maintain machine learning models, developing sophisticated algorithms for tasks such as image analysis, natural language processing, and predictive modeling.

• Enforce to standards in AI model development, deployment, and maintenance, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

• Stay abreast of the latest AI advancements, assessing their potential application and promoting innovation within the organization.

• Engage with external partners to integrate modern AI technologies and tools.

• Share a point of view in AI-related discussions, presenting findings and insights to stakeholders.

• Implement and refine powerful machine learning models and deep learning architectures.

• Optimize AI models for performance and reliability, considering computational and regulatory constraints.

• Contribute to the development of AI-related procedures, standards, and guidelines within the organization.

• Participate in scientific and technical discussions, communicating findings to various audiences.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models and systems.

• Communicate sophisticated AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

This job might be for you if you:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.

• Hands on experience in Building LLM’s/Generative AI solutions from scratch using frameworks such as Lang Chain, LangGraph, Crew

• Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with software engineering practices.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying AI model, production-grade conversational AI systems 

• Experience in RAG systems and knowledge base integration with LLMs

• Experience in Prompt engineering and techniques for improving model performance  

• Experience in using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate optimally with multi-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach.

• Understanding of regulatory compliance related to AI in the biotech and pharma industries is advantageous.

• Profound knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and statistical methods.

• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and tools.

• Passion for keeping up-to-date with AI research and advancements.

• Familiarity with Agentic AI patterns: ReAct, tool use, planning strategies, memory management, etc.

• Familiarity with fine-tuning and training custom language models

• Understanding of prompt testing and evaluation frameworks

•  Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
