We’re a small, fast-moving team with more AI ideas than we can currently bring to life. We’ve secured the budget via a series A (yay) to add another senior AI engineer who can help us turn those ideas into reality: someone experienced enough to drive change, push projects forward, and shape how we build and scale our AI capabilities.

We’re mature enough to give you a strong foundation - production traffic, customers who love our product, real infrastructure - but still early enough that your ideas will shape how we work and what we ship.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with a software development background. You’ll turn the latest AI breakthroughs into real product features. You will apply state-of-the-art AI techniques (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agents) to concrete business problems in bid management. You’ll have the freedom to experiment rapidly, prototype bold ideas, and turn the most promising ones into production features that are used by customers in days, not months.

This is the role for someone who loves being at the frontier of AI: trying, testing, breaking, building, and who wants to see their ideas shape a fast-growing SaaS product.

• Frontend: Vue / React

• Backend: .NET, Python (FastAPI)

• AI: Azure OpenAI, Pinecone, BM25, FastText, LangChain, Azure ML, Cosmos DB, Langfuse

• Infra: Fully integrated within Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, containers)

Over the past year, we’ve built out core retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that automate knowledge search and document processing for tenders. Based on this fundament we build many AI automations like custom summaries and automatic requirement answering on tenders. We’ve proven that AI can fundamentally change how bid teams work.

Now we’re scaling up: we want to explore and productize new AI capabilities at speed. That’s why we’re looking for you!

• Build and iterate on RAG pipelines, agents, and LLM-based workflows.

• Prototype with frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI function calling, or whatever tomorrow’s standard will be.

• Work closely with backend engineers to move from “scrappy prototype” to “production feature.”

• Own experiments end-to-end: from idea → POC → deployed feature → learnings.

• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability without slowing down experimentation.

• Contribute to the growing AI platform foundation we’re building inside Altura.

• Proven software engineering experience in SaaS and strong knowledge in Python and related frameworks (bonus: experience with .NET or fullstack).

• Solid understanding of modern LLM applications (RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, agents).

• Solid experience with evaluating and testing LLM applications.

• Experience with cloud-based ML/AI workflows (Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, or similar).

• Familiarity with tools like Pinecone, Langfuse, or open-source alternatives.
